    Hi! Thanks for your video!
If I don’t have lots of experience or achievements, how would you suggest I make a successful cover letter? It seems ever job you apply for on upwork require one. I’m kinda stuck there. Don’t want to mess it up before I send it

Omg I laughed so hard at that intro – I’m literally sitting in the Tesla my boyfriend lets me drive waiting at my daughter’s school for class to be out and watching this after being really upset about not being able to find a job lol – I needed a laugh thanks 😆 Great info btw!

Thank you very much for your information but I do got a question if you might have some suggestions. I am a photographer and I also do a lot of photo editing and I’m just curious if you might have any feedback on getting part-time work remotely doing photo editing here’s a little sample of my video of what I can do and again if you have any suggestions that would be great.

  11. @soniasaqib4709 on March 6, 2025 at 3:33 pm

    Hi Josh,
I’m a beginner at upwork. The problem I’m facing is to buy connects.
While applying when I started I applied some jobs according to experience and then all my connects which were free were consumed
Now how to get free connects although I didn’t get any response yet from anyone

  12. @Noormohammed_1414 on March 6, 2025 at 3:33 pm

Hey man, your videos are an inspiration for me to stay freelancing in Upwork, but the thing is I’m struggling to get my first client from the last 10 months.

    survey?

  16. @ideaoverload910 on March 6, 2025 at 3:36 pm

Even if this doesn’t work, you’ve gained a new sub just because of your energy!!

So the trick is to start small $ per/hr, show examples of work and get as many good review as possible. Then once you look like a pro, charge more?

I’m guessing it may take a few months to get a decent amount of reviews as the jobs will be far in between with not much reviews. So it’s a patients game, but if you stick with it, it will be worth it in the long run.

Also with repeat customers, it’s borderline passive income if your accomplished on the app.

I don’t mind spending $50 on a pack of connects. I would bid a lot of connects just to get a few jobs for reviews. Is it “the more connects you bid, the better chance you have at getting hired”?

I’m afraid to try Freelance Jobs because I don’t think that I have the skill to manage freelancing but I’m in a bit of a pickle currently. I’ve been doing Graphics Design for over 3 years and I’d like to would like to work as one but I’m afraid that my work isn’t up to anyone’s expectations. Should I try freelance or should I try looking for a simple job?

I’m uploading intro video on YouTube but it’s going in shorts??
Or how to upload intro video on upwork

  40. @juanchavarro6994 on March 6, 2025 at 4:05 pm

Hello Josh, great videos thank you! I feel I have different things I can offer on upwork, from being a tutor for several subjects, to interpreting languages, to all these things you just mentioned here. So my question is, how can you create multiple or one profile for all these things you are able to offer, and will it sell? Or should I create several upwork accounts? Or what is your strategy for this, because a ‘can do anything’ person may not be as appealing for employers? Looking forward to your thoughts.
